Grey looked at the Elf Kings. He licked his lips clean of blood. Even though he had just killed someone his teeth were still as white as ever. 'There is a cave not far from here,' he said shaking his fur. 'Bury the body there. The place is protected by the great mother. She will ensure he does not leave for a long time. I will keep watch over it for as long as I draw breath. By then no one will know of where he is buried.'

Aserius nodded. "Hopefully by than he's a distant memory."
Talonk agreed. "Nothing but a legend for those in the future. We should now go and destroy any survivors and followers of his kind to ensure we are safe for years to come."

Drake listened to all of this. He understood the wolf spoke the truth. Rubbing his neck he turned to look at the great beast before him. "My men will see to the body. As for the fugitive dark elves I will not take part in. My daughter has just come of age and I need to prepare for her ceremony," he said. "If you all will excuse me, I must go change." With a nod to the other kings and a bow to the grey wolf he left.
Grey watched the water king leave. He flicked his tail before turning away from the elves and took off running for the safety of his home. He seemed to vanish into the woods the moment he stepped foot into them. 'I hope not to have to deal with their lot for a long time,' he thought as he relished in the feeling of his home.
Iska watched the wolf leave. "By great wolf of the forest. May we meet you again one day," she whispered on the wind after the wolf. She took to the air and made her way home. Her soldiers following. First she buried her mother and held her coronation. Then she sent her men out to deal with the fugitive dark elves that hid in her lands. Never will she forget this time in her life.

Aserius nodded and returned home with his men, forever keeping the book locked away.
Talonk returned home thanking the beast for his help. He watched the beast return home, though the horse never wished to akwaken until he was needed.
