"Mommy, Daddy," shea called to her parents in her dream. She tried to follow but her father knocked her out with a pan. When she woke she felt lonely. She couldn't find her family no matter how hard she tried. "Why did you leave me behind," she cried. "I didn't mean to do it." Anger began to brew inside her. "You didn't have to leave me. It's not fair!" she kicked a rock hard. "I hate you," she whispered. "I hate you. I hate you. I hate you!" Then she raised her and screamed, "I hate you all." Shea sat up on the couch instantly so she wouldnt wake anyone in her sleep. She felt wetness all around and saw she had been sweating. She let out a sigh and sat up with her feet on the floor. Her head was hanging as her hands dangled between her legs.

Veranda woke up with the sun in her face. Victor was gone, along with Vanessa. She headed downstairs.

"They left for the forest," Shea said out of the blue. "He's teaching her some new tricks pups always learn. You'll find them near my fallen tree."

"The mice told me you always ask," Shea sighed standing. "Plus, I can hear some of the smaller animals complaining about the voice they're making."

"It's alright," Shea shrugged. "And thanks for helping me." Then she headed for the door.

Shea turned into an eagle and flew off. She headed for her old tree. Once there, she turned back to normal. With a sigh, she gathered all her things into a small bag that hung around her shoulders. "Goodbye old friend," she whispered to the tree as she patted it. Then she started to walk away.

Victor and Vanessa were near a lake. She smiled as she saw them there than realized what Shea said. Pain began to fill her heart. She ran to where she heard her speak.

Shea continued to walk away. She didn't want to look back because of all the old memories it brought her. There would never be another tree like hers, no matter how hard she looked.

"Shea," Veranda screamed. I can't bare to see her leave, just like Leara had to stop Exodus and Marcus from leaving. If she hadn't done that Sullivan would have never been born and Leara would have been even sadder than she was now, Veranda thought.

Shea heard Veranda scream her name. She turned around to see her running her way. There wasn't much for her to do but wait for her to catch up.

"My home is destroyed and I know there isn't another tree just like that one," Shea sighed. "It was the softest and weakest tree here. It took me twenty years to find it and it'll take me another twenty to find one like it here in my forest." She looked over at Vanessa and said, "She's gonna need help with her powers, but that can wait. Now I must find another home in this forest. I might have to go to the heart of the forest."
