Shea knew he was still behind her. She half smiled before flying into a storm cloud. Storm clouds were her favorite type of clouds. The moisture in them always seemed to caress her scales as she flew through. Her smile broadened at the feeling before breaking through the other side. She folded her wings and dove towards the ground. Laughing she just pulled in time to miss hitting Mayra's house and flew among the trees, flying fast and dodging the close quartered trees.

Drachen followed after her the whole time enjoying the water that gave him happiness. He didn't dive close to Mayra's house but he landed right beside her puffing. "That was a good flight."

"Tired already pussy cat?" Shea taunted turning into a squirrel and scaling her home tree. She changed into her human form when she reached the entrance to her living space. "It's alot comfier than it looks," she mumbled laying on her stomach upon the bed of moss.

Drachen half smiled as he became human again. "No I am not tired. Just enjoyed the exercise. And your home looks like a great place. Since a home should mean a lot to anyone who lives there and doesn't matter what others think."

"Whatever," Shea yawned curling up into a ball. "There is food and drinks behind that painting of the wolf if you ever get hungry or thirsty. And when you leave make sure you unlatch the vines so that they cover the entrance." She yawned again before closing her eyes and falling prey to a light slumber.

Drachen sighed and after he had his share he did as she asked with the vines and left her home going to the mansion. Once he had taken his shower he went to his room and went to bed.

Shea woke up when the sun was just reaching noon. She yawned once while stretching and took flight as her eagle self. Allowing the wind to carry her, she reached Mayra's house and almost flew into the house. Turning into her human form with a sigh she knocked on the door until Mayra answered it. "Please tell me you have coffee made..." Shea moanedleaning against the door frame.

Mayra laughed and took Shea's arm to take her to the kitchen. "Yes I brewed a big batch for you."
Drachen looked up from the counter reading a newspaper. "Good afternoon," was all he said before he read again.

"What's so good about it?" Shea half hissed. "I feel like crap after the full moon last night." She accepted the warm mug of coffee from Mayra. Sipping it, the headache that had started to form when she woke up began to go away. "Just what the doctor ordered," Shea sighed in satisfaction. She walked over to the coffee pot and poured some more coffee into her mug. Going outside before her tongue got the better of her again, she sat down on the picnic table that was there and listened to the soothing sounds of the birds singing their various tunes.

"Well It looks like a nice afternoon outside. As for last night it was a bitch yes, but we gotta deal with the full moon. Its gonna always be there," Drachen answered and went back to reading.

Shea just ignored his comment. She was too busy listening to a sound in the distance growing louder and louder. Changing her eyesight to that of a hawks, she saw three massive forms heading their way. One looked like it was running from the other two. Jumping up she dropped onto the mug and it shattered on the ground. She pushed off the table and flew high and fast through the air in dragon form. Now she could see the blue scales of a water dragon. The other two were complete strangers. Shea let out an ear splitting roar before crashing into one of the assailants. They collided into the other assailant and they fell towards the ground. She was able to send one crashing into the lake while the came tumbling through the trees. "Why don't you pick on someone your own size!" she growled. Out of the corner of her eye she could see that the dragon had made it safely to Mayra's house. She returned her attention to the two strangers as they began to pace back and forth in front of her, snarling and growling at the loss of their prey.

Mayra looked confused as Shea went out of the house dropping the mug on the ground. She quickly cleaned it up and looked up to see horror on Drachen's face. She followed his gaze and saw an elf that looked very much the same as him but a lot younger.
Drachen began to check over his brother. "Are you alright, Ulak? What happened to you and who chased you? Was it those damn Northerners? I'll kill the lot of them."
Ulak looked at Drachen. "I am fine I was just hunting when they began to advance and chase after me. I luckily ran all the way here in safety and it seems another dragon is taking care of them."
Drachen growled. "Shea is out there protecting our asses."

Shea reared onto he hindlegs spreading her wings out behind her. "You are trespassing on my lands. Leave now or die," she roared. The two dragons glared at her before attacking. Shea let out a battle cry before fighting back at the two dragons. She scratched one on the muzzle while clamping her jaws around the others neck. Her victim squirmed as she tightened her grip on him. A sharp pain on her back made her roar, allowing her victim to escape. She turned to look at the other dragon and charged him. She tusseled with him for a few minutes before she pinned him to the ground. Her prey's friend stared in disbelief when she dragged her claws across her prey's throat. "Sister," the dragon screamed as the dragon under her stopped moving. "Leave now or share her fate," Shea growled at her other opponent. "And take her with you when you go." She backed away from the dead dragon and watched its sibling pick it up and take flight, heading for the northern kingdom of the elves. Shea turned into an eagle and flew lazily towards her home. She could feel the blood trickling down her back as she landed lightly in her home and turning into her human form. Before she could do anything about her wound, she passed out from the loss of too much blood.

Drachen made sure Ulak was good before he headed outside to help Shea, but by the time he got to the area where he smelled blood there was nothing there. Blood covered the grass, but no one was around. He decided to run to Shea's home knowing she'd be there. He silently entered and whispered her name with no response. He saw Shea laying on the ground.
"Shea," he yelled in a voice that showed great concern. He was glad no one was around to hear it. Even her. He'd never known his voice could get so concerned for someone other than his family. He decided to use his healing powers and began to heal her back wound.

Shea moaned softly as the pounding in her head grew as she slowly came to. Her back ached like a bitch but was otherwise fine. She looked around to see that she was laying on her moss bed in her home. The blanket was tucked firmly around her. Her eyes were going in and out of focus as she looked around her home. She saw the outline of someone sitting against the wall. It looked like the person was asleep but she wasn't sure. Their sent was like a calm ocean. 'Water Dragon,' she thought as she sat up. Her eyes were almost focused when the person came closer and she knew that the person was Drachen.
