Shea shifted postition from time to time but never made a sound. Silver WIng once told her that when someone is ill or badly hurt, the best thing is peace and quiet so that the person could get better. Putting the ancient dragon's lesson to heart, she never allowed a single soul enter unless it was to bring food, water, or to tend to Drachen's wounds. "Tell Elvron that he is doing better than before but I'm not sure if things will turn out alright," Shea told a messenger quietly. Then she turned away and returned to her post.

Drachen stayed in his bed, feeling his wounds ache now and then, but once most were taken care of he found he could sit upright after awhile. "Thank you for staying with me, Shea. I couldn't ask of this from you, since I am sure my brothers or even Elvron would have done the same. Would there be anything you would want in return for this kind favor? I know someone like you is more interesting in caring for your woods or your temper could be in the way, but to do this must be big," he confessed.
Elvron and the others got word and relaxed after hearing he was fine.

"What I do is not worth a damn," Shea said turning into her human self for the first time. "Elvron was worried and so were the others." She turned away so that he could not see her emotions spilling out. "You should be able to get out of bed in a few days. If anyone needs me, well, just tell 'em to not come looking. I'm going home." She walked out of the room and took off running. She raced for the main entrance and turned into an eagle. Flying fast she returned to her tree and with a victorious smile grabbed the rest of her things. "I'll see you again one day old friend," Shea told the tree before taking flight in her dragon form. Flying to the mountains she met up with Silver Wing who appeared to be waiting for her. "Follow me then," the old dragon told her taking flight. Shea followed close behind as the ancient dragon led her away from her beloved home.

Drachen narrowed his eyes at her but saw she turned away as if to hide her emotions which startled him since he saw she was always willing to confess how she felt very bluntly. He knew Elvron and the others worried for his safety but the reason she turned had to be she must have worried too. He shook his head pretty sure such childish thoughts weren't true, but it still made him wonder. Once she had gone he decided to get up and went towards the mirror. His bandage still covered his abdomen. A part of him didn't want to see what was underneath, but he had to know if he scarred badly or not. He began to unwrap it until it was all off. Luckily his back was perfectly unharmed save for the older scars he had received, but he now had a scar that ran across his upper chest diagonally to his lower. He growled in anger. One day the person who did this to him would pay. It not only ruined his chest looks, but now he'd have to either hide or show the damn thing. He quickly dressed and went down the hall to leave the kingdom. Seeing the village and towns broken sickened him. The elves and other creatures that allied them would pay for this. The North were always such pests to all the other kingdoms.

Shea flew just a breadth behind and to the right of Silver Wing. She knew the old dragon will speak of her plans when she was ready but she was still itching to know. Then the old dragon looked at her and motioned her to fly beside her. "Where I am taking you is my home," Silver Wing explained. "My grandchildren live there with me but they are all older than you. I only have one rule for you, do not under any sercumstances turn into another form while you are staying with me. My grandchildren would most likely kill you on sight. They hav had a rough childhood and are very nasty towards others." "Where is your home?" Shea wanted to know. "Far north where only my kind thrive. Only the northern elves royal family knows that we live there," Silver Wing sighed. "Annoying buzzards is what they are. I fear this war between them and the other kingdoms shall rage for a few years tops." "I think you are right," Shea agreed before falling silent.

Drachen soon found the next coming days rather boring. Until he found his strength again he wouldn't be able to see Elvron and his family again. He began to practice every day with the guards in normal sparring of swords and sometimes he tried bow and arrow targets. He found his muscles in his chest were not used to such moment he did and he always ached at the end of the day. He sighed sitting on his bed running his fingers through his hair.

Shea sat among the other dragons feeling at ease. They had accepted her the moment she had arrived, but she knew that they would hate her the moment they found out the truth about her. She sighed softly and turned her away from the group. Slowly but surely she walked to the entrance and stared off into the distance. In her mind she knew that if the situation called for it, she'd fight for what she believed was right, even if the others did't like it. Either way, she knew that she wasn't a real dragon. So their opinions didn't matter to her. She sighed once more and layed down. Tonight she would sleep outside under the stars.

Drachen soon found his body had fully recovered. After he made sure the kingdoms recoveries were going smoothly he packed his things. He hugged his parents and wished good luck for his brothers. But he felt their stares on him as he left. They disliked his leaving fearing that if he left another war would happen or something worse. He just hoped he wasn't the only thing keeping the other kingdoms at bay. Bad enough the kingdom would be on his shoulders next. He turned into a dragon and began to fly toward the mansion. But he realized in this form the scar hurt a lot worse. He should have practiced more in this form than the other. He finally landed in front of the mansion exhausted.

Shea stared off into the distance more as the days went by. She truely missed her home. Her lessons with Silver Wing hd continued but there wasn't much left for her to learn. Soon it would be time to return home. Something about that idea told her it would be really difficult. Shaking her head she joined the others for supper. Shea laughed and had a good time. Then she isolated herself and for the first time, wondered how the others were faring.

Drachen went inside only to find Shea wasn't there. It kinda disappointed him, but he figured she liked her forest a lot more than anything.

Shea kept an eye on the phases of the moon as the days continued to go by. The moon was slowly getting closer to being full. If she wanted to be home before the moon was full then she had better leave now. She waited until everyone had gone to sleep before taking flight. Shea flew towards her home at supersonic speed. She knew that some of the other dragons had given chase in order to bring her back, but she was not returning. With a sigh, she flew in among the trees and disappeared for she had turned into an eagle. She flew the rest of the way to the tree she had called her home for so many years in eagle form. The entire woods was happy at her arrival.

Drachen went outside the next day. The full moon was coming and he really disliked it unless he was in battle in his dragon form. It was pointless on errands like vacations.... couldn't really be used for anything... he just got stronger was all.
He began to walk over to the lake. Something about the woods felt alive for once. He figured maybe it was happy of someone's returning. He wondered if it was Shea who did it. He began to look around for her not caring about her warning. He wanted the full moon to come so he'd show her not to mess too much with his temper.

Shea could tell Drachen was looking for her. She sighed and just ignored him. "He needs to learn the hard way that my home is not safe," she muttered to herself. She layed down on her bed of moss and stared up at the ceiling. 'Home sweet home,' she thought to herself with a smile.

Drachen rolled his eyes at the odd things around this forest. He much rather liked his watery home compared to this odd place. But he was here to see Elvron and in doing so he had to make friends with the others as well. He began to explore some more and once he found she was no where he headed back to the mansion.
Elvron saw him. "Bro, your wounds will open up again if you stress yourself."
"Nah Don't worry about me," Drachen growled.

Shea closed her eyes and brathed in the scent of her home. Enjoying the fresh smell of nature. The sounds of her home were like a soft lullaby. She fell asleep listening to the creatures of the woods move on in the day. This was the best sleep she had had in a long time.
